This Carpoint EV charging cable fits all electric cars with a Mennekes type 2 connection. The plug on the charging station side is also of type 2, which is the standard for public and private charging points in Europe. Both plugs are equipped with a protective cap. All Carpoint charging cables have been tested and are CE approved, meeting all electrical safety requirements. The charging cable has an IP55 rating, making it safe for outdoor use and in all weather conditions. The robust design makes the charging cable suitable for daily use.

Attention! Carpoint charging cables are available in different lengths, different maximum currents and for 1- or 3-phase charging. The exact specifications of this cable can be found below. Make sure that the maximum charging current and the number of phases of the cable are at least equal to the highest values of your car. For example, if your car is suitable for 3-phase charging and you choose a 1-phase cable, you will not use the full capacity of the charger in the car and charging will be slower than what would be possible. The same applies to the current capacity: if you buy a 16A cable, while your car can handle a maximum of 32A, the cable will cause an unnecessary limitation in the charging speed.
